Find me here....I need to hear You....

powerful video. everyone should watch it.....

Psalm 18:16-17
“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.”

You Are Still Holy

Holy, You are still holy
Even when the darkness surrounds my life
Sovereign, You are still sovereign
Even when confusion has blinded my eyes

Lord I don’t deserve Your kind affection
When my unbelief has kept me from your touch
I want my life to be a pure reflection
Of Your love

So I come into Your chambers
And I dance at Your feet, Lord
You are my Savior
And I’m at Your mercy
All that has been in my life up to now
It belongs to You
For You are still holy

John 16:33b
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Psalm 37:39
"The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble."
John 8:12
"Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying 'I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Nahum 1:7
"The Lord is good, a refuge in time of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him."

Psalm 55:22
"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall."

Psalm 103:12
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

Everything

Find Me Here
Speak To Me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
You are the light
That's leading me
To the place where I find peace again.

You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose...you're everything.

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

You calm the storms, and you give me rest.
You hold me in your hands, you won't let me fall.
You steal my heart, and you take my breath away.
Would you take me in? Take me deeper now?

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

Cause you're all I want, You're all I need
You're everything,everything
You're all I want your all I need
You're everything, everything.
You're all I want you're all I need.
You're everything, everything
You're all I want you're all I need, you're everything, everything.

And How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

the perfect gift...

do you ever have trouble finding a gift for someone for christmas? you wonder the mall for hours, searching in every store, trying to find something that might spark that person's interest. no luck at one mall leads to you travelling to another mall...and then another...and then another....

i mean, why not, right?! doesn't everyone love the hustle and bustle of malls during the christmas season? this season sure brings out the best in everyone...people shoving, yelling, and fighting over that last nintendo wii or i-pod touch makes me think of 'jolly' and 'giving' and 'thankful'. do you get that feeling too?

but somehow, we all manage to get into the mall and find those gifts for people we love.

for many of us, after hours of searching, we find a gift, but then question ourselves. 'is this the perfect gift?' this is a legit question. nobody wants to disappoint a loved one on christmas! we then have to find another gift, and then compare, to see which one really is 'perfect'. after debating, we ask someone else for a second opinion, who usually gives us the answer, 'both are very nice!'

'but which one is perfect?!?!' we want to yell out.

at the end of a very long day, we end up getting both gifts, hoping that one of them will suffice.

christmas morning comes along, the gifts are open, and what do you know...the person is ecstatic when they open the gifts we give them!

SUCCESS!! perfection has been found it seems....

but what are these gifts, really?! are they really 'perfect'?

some of the things we receive on christmas are things we need. some of them are things we don't need. some will hide in the attic for years, probably never to be seen again. and some will become outdated within a few years, if not a few months, and be tossed out.

could it be that these gifts aren't really 'perfect'?

well, it seems to me that we have already received the perfect gift. in fact, we received this gift long ago. that gift is Jesus.

He may not have seemed like much to people at first...just a 'baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger' (Luke 2:12). little did they know that a Savior had been born!

yes, Jesus is by far the perfect gift that God gave to us long ago. and He is still with us....everyday! He is what we need and will never become outdated! sure, some people 'hide Him in the attic', but that is not where He is meant to be!

so remember this christmas, that 'perfect' gift can't be found in a mall or store. the perfect gift has already been given to us!

don't forget what the christmas season is really about! JESUS...the perfect gift that God gave to us!
